Creating the New You By Waking Up to Your Potential And by Adjusting Your Eating Habits |

. This site in not about fat, or weight loss, or diet alternatives ,or anything else in the physical external physical world. It's not about your body either. It's about creating the new you from the inside out with some very easy-to-use steps. Food, and eating habits are simply our tools for the first phase of this process. You can take this process to any level you choose and do so as rapidly or as slowly as you like. If you are ready, we can begin now. Forget about calories, diets, and weight scales. Forget about trying to lose anything. Trying is justified failure and losing is for losers. Who wants to be a loser? Forget about fighting fat or fighting anything else, either. Why? Because fighting, fighting anything, brings you more of what you're mind is focused on. When you fight fat you are focused on body fat and you're telling the universe to bring you more body fat. We are not humans destined to be overweight, particularly as we get older. We are people who have bought into false collective belief systems about dozens of things, including false beliefs about who and what we are, about, money, about religion and about our own bodies. On this site, we'll deal with body health and primarily about becoming conscious of and altering our eating habits. Instead, of being mechanical man or woman, when you are hungry, when you are eating or about to start eating, wake up and pay attention to what your body is telling you. Here are a few hints that can be very helpful. How to reduce excessive food consumption Avoid eating for at least two hours prior to going to bed. When eating, use smaller dishes. Take smaller bites. Chew your food longer. Take a deep breath between bites. Wait five, or ten ,or fifteen minutes before taking a second helping of food. (We'll expand on these comments later) At the moment, this page will introduce you to the core key to solving the overweight problem. The Mind / Body Distinction -- What Am I Really Hungry For? Before eating anything ask yourself these questions: Is my stomach saying "Give me food? or is there some other motive that is more subtle and more compelling. Is my stomach speaking or is it my tongue? Or is it something completely different? Ask, "Will eating this food satisfy my hunger?" The act of eating is pleasurable, but how will I feel thirty minutes later. What am I really hungry for? Asking "What am I really hungry for?" can be a major tool for success. Before you reach for something to eat, Stop! Close your eyes. Ask, "What am I really hungry for?" Feel, see, listen for the answer. Eating food is not the real answer. After ingesting one to a few bites, stop eating and ask yourself these two questions: "Is this food satisfying my hunger?" "What am I really hungry for?" Let your stomach answer the question, "Shall I eat this food?" Are you really eating as attempt to fulfill some vague feeling of hunger for love, or for peace of mind or this or that whatever. If the body is not calling for food, find a way to distract yourself. Find a healthy way to distract yourself. Focus on something else such as the One Minute Miracle described below. Avoid switching to things like cigarettes and/or alcohol. If you require putting something into your body, drink water, drink a lot of water, and/or calm yourself with a natural herbal extract such a Valerian or Melatonin. Stop whatever you are doing, focus on your body, stretch , move, take a brief walk, find something to do with your hands. Food Pleasure and Satisfaction: Please be aware that we are not suggesting that you deny yourself the pleasure of eating. For example, eating a piece of cake is fine, eating the whole cake is not. What we are suggesting is eating a little more consciously. That's what this website is all about. Miracles Miracles: Miracles definitely do occur, but usually not on the first day of your choosing a create a new self. Also, note that not all miracles are instantaneous. many occur slowly over time, some so slowly that you may not recognize them immediately. Timing: I took you years to bet to where you are today, so be patient. Much of you creation process will develop slowly. From Hunger to Satisfaction: There comes a point in the eating process where the body feelings shift from hunger to satisfaction. Your job is to find the point when the stomach is just beginning to feel full. When you first notice this shift, ask, "Is my body really hungry for this next bite, for this next servicing, for this next whatever." That's the point to shift back into the process of asking, "What am I really hungry for?" The One Minute Miracle: Make a commitment to be intentionally physically active for one minute every day. Why only one minute? Because it's not about the activity. It's about creating a new habit and doing so slowly enough to avoid stress. Some would call the suggested physical activity "exercise," but that word has taken on a negative meaning for so many of us that we rebel at the very thought of exercising. Our minds say, "It's work! It's struggle! It's painful!" So instead, how about simply stretching your arms and shoulders? or shaking your hands to loosen them up? or walking in place? or whatever you choose to do that intentionally moves your body in ways that are not part of your normal daily routine. You'll be amazed at what this one minute of intentional, physical activity can accomplish. It's only secondarily about your body What you are really stretching your mind. Find Something to do with Your Hands. Find something that feels pleasant to touch. Feel the smoothness of a polished stone. Squeeze a rubber ball. Pet you cat or your dog. While your hands are occupied, notice the feeling message coming from your stomach. Is it really saying, "Give me food."? If not, ask "What am I really hungry for?" Ask as often and as long as it takes to get the real answer. Questions of Intimacy: Are you sexually fulfilled? Is food a substitute? Is food a protection to make you fat? Is fat a protection to keep you safe from from sex or from intimacy? These are big questions, but here's the real surprise. The answers to all the questions asked above on this page are already inside yourself.

"whatever." You needn't be
discouraged because this feeling comes from
beliefs and those belies can be changed.
